Raw Banana Thick Shake Smoothie






 Whenever I feel a little low in energy I go for a banana smoothie. Did you know it is also a happy food which means a mood enhancer? Bananas may also help reduce PMS symptoms. All the more reason to add more of this amazing fruit into your diet.


This is one of my favourite banana smoothie recipes:
  • 3 small bananas 
  • splash of a good quality olive oil
  • 1/2 tbsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tbsp bee pollen
  • 2 tbsp walnuts
  • 1-2 cups of water (depending on how thick you like your smoothies)
  • 1/2 tsp ground vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Blend all of the above and enjoy; knowing that you are nourishing your body.
